Welcome to Creative Horizons. We can create original songs, musicals or provide full arrangements and lead sheets for any musical composition. Our current musicals available are "THE TRAVELING COMPANION" based on the classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, "THE GHOST WHO SAVED BROADWAY" a tribute to vaudeville and the BROADWAY of the past with an original story by Michael L. Ricciardi. Our Christmas musicals include "A MOMENT WITH MISTER "C" (in which we meet a Santa Claus a little different than we remember him) and "THE INVITATION" (a classic story about a man who was once a hero, but gave up everything to preserve Christmas) Over SIX HUNDRED SONGS exist in our musical catalog and that list can be seen at the ASCAP site( www.ascap.com) on the ACE DATA BASE. We can provide instrumentalists and Mr. Doran can provide amazing organ accompanyment for any wedding or funeral. Contact us today. Mr. Tim Doran can be reached at timcdoran@aol.com. Our newest musical "SEVENLY" (co- wriiten with JOHN D. NUGENT) is now ready for readings. Other musicals being developed include "THE RUNAWAY HEART" "THE WILD SWANS" (based on yet another Hans Christian Andersen story) and a rewrite of "SKYLARK" "BROADWAY ANGELS" and "YOUNG MCDONALD" will soon be available. Just in the starting stages is "THE SHADOW OF FREEDOM" a musical telling of the one American who voted his conscience and saved our country--perhaps single-handedly. His name was Edmund G. Ross, junior senator from the state of Kansas who was featured in John Kennedy's Pulitizer Prize winning novel "Profiles in Courage". The year was 1868: the impeachment trial of Andrew Johnson, the seventeenth president of the United States. His only crime was keeping alive the philosophy and the Reconstruction of this nation by Abraham Lincoln. three songs and twenty pages of libretto have been completed. Also in the planning stages is VALENTINE a miusical telling of the great saint whose name is synonimous with the great February holiday! A new catalog is available for schools and college theatre departments to examine. Our artists include BILL LEWIS, DAVID MEINKE and ADAM SIMMONS. NEW MUSICAL BEGINS-- "FATHER DREAMER" - June 1, 2009

Creative Horizons has begun work on another new musical called FATHER DREAMER based on a true story. The original story ended tragically and is the story of a priest who dreamed of flying around the world in a hot air balloon. CREATIVE HORIZONS is making the story a bit of a fantasy and is expected to be completed by years end.

LITTLE BIT OF BROADWAY EXTENDS ITS RUN - May 23, 2009

Due to popular demand "A LITTLE BIT OF BROADWAY has been extended and is moving to a larger venue. It will play another four performances at the PROMENADE PLAYHOUSE at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $16.00 for students and seniors. The cast takes on a new member in NICHOLAS SWEET as PETER and NAAMA KATES as Helen. ANDY SOWERS also joins the cast as BRUCE GIDDEN. Performances are set for 7pm through Memorial Day. There is a special for STUDENTS for Sunday's performance at 7:00pm in a "STARVING STUDENT" special price of $12.50 which includes a free 12 ounce beverage.

LITTLE BIT OF BROADWAY PREMIERES - May 8, 2009

Creative Horizon's original musical "A LITTLE BIT OF BROADWAY" is set to premiere at the Hollywood Fight Club Theatre at 6767 Sunset Blvd in the heart of Hollywood. The theatre is located in a strip mall at the North East corner of Sunset and Highland avenues, two blocks from the Kodak Theatre and the Academy Awards. Admission is $20.00. The musical plays stars Brice Oates, Danny Epstein, Emily Fox, Bob Weiner, Walt Hochbreuckner, Adam Ferris, and Aaron Jacobs. The musical takes place in 1979 and is a musical journey through the life of a Tin Pan Alley songwriter named Chester Moore. The musical will play ten performances between May 8th and May 21.
