This is the story of Mildred P. Milligan, a small door mouse who resides at the North Pole in the walls near the kitchen of Mrs. Claus. Our story takes place in January following a busy Christmas. Mrs. Claus' mother has broken her leg and Mrs. Claus would really like to go and stay with her awhile. But poor Santa and the elves have never been left alone before. Santa assures Mrs. claus that he will do very well without her. But alas! Santa knows little about cooking, canning, cleaning and doing laundry. When everything goes well, however, it is tiny Mrs. Milligan to the rescue.A story first written many years ago and now available in a vocal story and a color picture book from Creative Horizons.
